Memorandum of Understanding was Signed Between the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) and the Energy Regulatory Commission of Mongolia

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) and the Energy Regulatory Commission of Mongolia. The Memorandum was signed by the Chairman of GNERC, Mr. Davit Narmania, and the Chairman of the Energy Regulatory Commission of Mongolia.

The Memorandum provides for cooperation through the exchange of information on energy-related issues, participation in events organized by the parties, and the exchange of documents, studies, and publications.

Following the signing of the Memorandum, a meeting was held at GNERC. Within the framework of the meeting, GNERC representatives provided information to their Mongolian counterparts on the ongoing reforms in Georgia’s electricity sector, issues related to the development of the distribution network and the calculation of normative losses, the principles of tariff regulation and mechanisms for service quality control, regulatory cost audit, and the unified system of accounting.
