From January 1, 2026, drivers will be fined for excessive noise

Starting from the New Year, a provision of the Administrative Offenses Code will come into force, according to which operating a vehicle that produces noise exceeding the legally established limit will result in a fine of 100 GEL.

In case of repeat offenses, the fine will increase to 200 GEL, and for subsequent offenses, the driver will be fined 300 GEL.

This law will take effect on January 1, 2026.
