The court sentenced arm-wrestler Khatia Vibliani, accused of beating a 15-year-old teenager, to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment, suspended, and ordered her to complete a behavior correction course at the probation office.
Khatia Vibliani was found guilty by Judge Konstantine Kopaliani. She was given a suspended sentence of 1 year and 6 months.
According to Radio Liberty, Vibliani’s right to change her permanent residence was restricted, and she was required to attend a mandatory behavior correction course at the National Probation Bureau.
Judge Kopaliani explained that, in determining the sentence, the court took into account mitigating circumstances in the case, including the defendant’s remorse, admission of guilt, and her minor children.
For reference, the prosecutor’s office charged Khatia Vibliani with premeditated violence against a minor. According to the investigation, on September 11 of this year, in a store in Tbilisi, Vibliani physically assaulted the minor and then continued to use physical force against them near the store.
