The court has ordered pre-trial detention for former head of the State Security Service, Grigol Liluashvili.
The decision was made by Judge Arsen Kalatozishvili.
A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for February 16, at 12:00.
Today's court hearing was closed at the request of the prosecution. Grigol Liluashvili was not present at the trial.
For information, former head of the State Security Service, Grigol Liluashvili, who came to the prosecutor's office for questioning, was arrested on December 23. He is charged under Article 338, Part 2, Subparagraph "c" and Part 3, Subparagraph "e" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which involves taking a bribe in a particularly large amount by a group by prior agreement and provides for a sentence of 11 to 15 years in prison.
