Ani Nadareishvili: When armed Russian slaves stormed in, Bacho’s 13-year-old nephew was leaving the apartment building; they took his phone and kept him on the street for three hours without anyone knowing his whereabouts - I wish the same to every ‘Kotsi’!

Bacho’s 13-year-old nephew, Data Akhalaia, was leaving the apartment building when he was detained, his phone was confiscated, and he was kept on the street for three hours without anyone knowing where he was, according to Ani Nadareishvili, the wife of former Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaia.

As she writes on her personal Facebook page, despite the fact that the child’s mother was continuously calling his mobile phone, he was not allowed to answer.

“At the moment when armed Russian slaves stormed into our place, Bacho’s 13-year-old nephew, Data Akhalaia, was leaving the apartment building. The child was detained, his phone was taken away, and he was held on the street for three hours without anyone knowing the child’s whereabouts. His mother was constantly calling his phone, and the child was not allowed to answer her - not even to say a couple of words that he was alive. I wish the same experience to every ‘Kotsi’!” Nadareishvili writes.

For reference, Bacho Akhalaia has been charged in the October 4 case under Article 225, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which concerns organizing and leading group violence and carries a possible sentence of up to 9 years’ imprisonment.
