The court hearing of former Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaia has been fully closed.

The motion to close the proceedings was submitted by the Prosecutor’s Office, which stated that the case contains confidential information about witnesses, the disclosure of which could occur, including witnesses’ personal data.

The motion was granted by Judge Maia Melkadze.
