According to the information requested in the case, Otar Romanov-Partskhaladze is currently in Russia, having left the Georgian state border in June 2025, - this was stated by Prosecutor Levan Vepkhvadze while speaking about the murder case of Levan Jangveladze, within the framework of which former Chief Prosecutor Otar Partskhaladze was charged.

According to him, the investigation into the case began in March 2025, Levan Jangveladze was killed on March 14.

As Levan Vepkhvadze noted, Levan Jangveladze felt threatened directly by Otar Romanov-Partskhaladze and the Mikadze brothers, because they had disagreements regarding business activities.

“It is logical that the Gela Udzilauri case materials will be here, because Gela Udzilauri has been established in this case as the executor. The fact of how they reached Gela Udzilauri has also been established and presented with evidence. As for specific evidence, of course, there are witness testimonies, in addition, additional witnesses have been added to the case, which together substantiate the fact that Levan Jangveladze felt threatened directly by Otar Romanov-Partskhaladze and the Mikadze brothers. He had certain expectations, because they were in conflict, they had disagreements regarding business activities,” Levan Vepkhvadze notes.

When asked whether there is an audio or video recording in the case against Partskhaladze, Levan Vepkhvadze answers: "There is also an audio recording of the witnesses' testimonies."

For information, Otar Romanov Partskhaladze was charged in the murder case of businessman Levan Jangveladze. Specifically, he was charged under Article 25/109, Subsection “N” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies organizing premeditated murder by order and for profit.

The aforementioned crime provides for a sentence of 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
