Tamar Mearakishvili reportedly taken to hospital

According to reports, Tamar Mearakishvili, a civil activist detained in occupied Tskhinvali, has been taken to the hospital.

Mearakishvili has been on a hunger strike in protest since her arrest.

The activist was arrested on December 23 on charges of espionage. She was sent to two months of pretrial detention by the so-called court of occupied Tskhinvali.
