The year 2025 was a year of ordeals and spiritual strength at the same time. Our people demonstrated their unique nature and strength, withstood unprecedented pressure, defended the country's sovereignty and national interest, which means preserving identity, faith and traditions, - Mikheil Kavelashvili says in a video message, congratulating the society on the New Year.

As Kavelashvili noted, together we can overcome any difficulty.

I would like to especially congratulate and thank the Georgian Orthodox Church, His Holiness, the Catholicos of Georgia The Patriarch, the spiritual pillar of our people, the guardian of faith, morality and national unity.

I congratulate the representatives of all confessions, the loyal children of our country. With great respect, I congratulate the Georgian Defense Forces and law enforcement officers, who protect the security of our citizens and homeland with dignity and loyalty.
