According to the National Environmental Agency, a sharp drop in air temperature is expected in Georgia on January 3 and 4.
As noted in the information released by the agency, the night temperature in some places on the Kolkheti Plain may drop to -8 degrees, and in Shida Kartli to -17 degrees. Subtropical crops and vine plantations may be significantly damaged.
“Severe frost may cause restrictions on certain sections of roads and highways and freezing of power lines (danger level medium),” reads the information released by the National Environmental Agency.
