Beka Liluashvili, one of the leaders of the party "Gakharia for Georgia", is leaving politics. As he wrote on social media, he plans to continue his career in the private sector.
“After many years spent in public policy and political activity, with the arrival of the New Year I am now publicly closing this important chapter of my life and plan to continue my work in the private sector. I am grateful for the invaluable experience, responsibility, and trust that accompanied my work in Georgia’s public and political sphere. I am especially thankful to the people who gave me this opportunity and/or showed their support. These years taught me more than I could have imagined - about the country, the people, and myself.
My professional focus is now on the private sector: technology, digital transformation, finance, and the economy. I believe that long-term and sustainable change also comes from building strong companies and supporting sectors that drive economic development. This does not mean abandoning public interest - this value remains the cornerstone of my work, and I will always and everywhere fight for the interests of our state and society.
Thank you to everyone with whom I walked this path. A new stage lies ahead,” Liluashvili wrote on social media.
