Giorgi Sioridze: It is society’s duty to turn out in large numbers at the January 12 protest and express solidarity with Mzia Amaghlobeli, who is fighting for our future

One year has passed since the arrest of Mzia Amaghlobeli - she symbolically slapped this injustice in the face, said Giorgi Sioridze, a member of Lelo – Strong Georgia.

According to him, it is the duty of citizens to hold a large-scale protest rally on Rustaveli Avenue on January 12 in support of Mzia Amaghlobeli.

“One year has passed since the arrest of Mzia Amaghlobeli. This woman has become a true symbol of the fight against injustice. Through her steadfastness and resilience, she showed the entire world that this regime is an oppressive one and symbolically slapped this injustice in the face. It is our duty, the duty of society, to come out in large numbers to Rustaveli on January 12 for a protest rally and to express solidarity with a person who is fighting precisely for our future - who is our hope and one of the symbols of the fact that we will never accept the Russian regime,” Giorgi Sioridze stated.
