A protest rally is underway on Rustaveli Avenue.

Demonstrators have gathered on the sidewalk in front of the Parliament building. They are carrying Georgian and European Union flags.

According to the protesters, they will gather again on Rustaveli Avenue tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. and celebrate Christmas together.

Continuous protests have been taking place near the Parliament for more than a year.

The demonstrators’ demands remain unchanged: the announcement of new parliamentary elections and the release of individuals detained during the protests.
