According to her, Mzia Amaglobeli, who was awarded the Sakharov Prize by the European Parliament, embodies the fight for truth and democracy.
“A year ago, Mzia Amaglobeli was imprisoned by the Georgian regime. Her courage is a symbol of resistance for a nation still protesting injustice. Honoured with the Sakharov Prize by European Parliament, she embodies the fight for truth and democracy.
Europe stands with the Georgian people!!” the MEP wrote.
