Today, January 14, is the National Flag Day of Georgia. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the occasion of the National Flag Day, a flag-raising ceremony was traditionally held in various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a sign of respect for the country's national symbol, military personnel of the Defense Forces solemnly raised the Georgian flags against the background of the national anthem.

According to the Ministry of Defense, on the occasion of the Flag Day, a flag-raising ceremony was held on the territory of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and at the military bases of the Defense Forces.

The Organic Law of Georgia defines the National Flag Day of Georgia.
