Kakha Kaladze - All central streets, avenues and secondary roads have been completely cleared in the city - heavier snowfall is expected, I urge drivers to refrain from driving without winter tires

Heavier snowfall is expected tonight and all day tomorrow - I would like to urge drivers, especially in the suburbs, to refrain from driving without winter tires, - the mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, stated in a conversation with journalists in Kojori, where he viewed the road cleaning works.

According to him, all central streets and secondary roads in the city have been completely cleaned.

“We started the relevant work yesterday evening. All relevant services of the municipality have been mobilized. More than 100 pieces of equipment have been mobilized. All central streets and avenues, secondary roads in the city have been completely cleared. Public transport moves without interruptions.

Heavier snowfall is expected tonight and tomorrow all day. We will continue the work.

I would like to urge drivers, especially in the suburbs, to refrain from driving without winter tires. It creates problems in terms of safety. Also, it is possible that the car will get stuck, then it will be difficult for the equipment to move and to apply technical salt,” Kaladze noted.
