Giorgi Vashadze to leave Rustavi Penitentiary No. 12 on January 23

The leader of Strategy Aghmashenebeli, Giorgi Vashadze, will leave Rustavi Penitentiary Institution No. 12 on January 23.

Giorgi Vashadze was sentenced to seven months in prison for failing to comply with the request of a temporary parliamentary investigative commission. The term of this sentence expires on January 23.

According to the party’s press service, Vashadze will be released from prison at 08:00.

For reference, the court found Giorgi Vashadze, leader of Strategy Aghmashenebeli, guilty of failing to comply with the request of a temporary parliamentary investigative commission. By the decision of Judge Nino Galustashvili, he was sentenced to seven months of imprisonment and was also banned from holding public office for a period of two years.
