At any stage it is ruled out that a criminal offense will be admitted, because no criminal offense has been committed, - Andro Chichinadze, an actor convicted in a group action, said at the trial.
He made a brief speech after his lawyers made introductory remarks.
"Thank you [to the judge] for allowing us all to attend the process. Similar motions in previous courts have not yielded any results. I won't say much, these people, sitting in front of us [prosecutors], want to show us reality differently, I mean they want to offer us a different reality, but the reality is the same... At any stage it is ruled out that a criminal offense will be admitted, because no criminal offense has been committed. With the "evidence" that the prosecutor's office has brought, at most, we can talk about an administrative offense. This is an attempt to present reality differently, and this story will not work. No matter what decision you make, the reality will be the same," Chichinadze said.
