The Tbilisi City Court has kept in custody 13 individuals detained in connection with the events that took place near Atoneli Palace on October 4.
At today’s hearing, the court reviewed the preventive measure imposed on the defendants and examined video evidence. The case is being heard by Judge Tamar Makharoblidze.
The prosecution requested that the defendants remain in pretrial detention, while defense lawyers argued that there was no necessity to keep their clients in custody and filed motions requesting a less restrictive preventive measure, namely bail.
Ultimately, the court granted the prosecution’s motion and kept all 13 individuals in custody.
