Paata Manjgaladze on October 4 events - I won't hide it, many people wanted to take photos that day - it was a performance and it cannot be interpreted as though I was an organizer

Many people wanted to take a photo that day. This does not mean that something illegal was planned in an organized manner. It was a performance and it cannot be interpreted as though I was an organizer, - Paata Manjgaladze, one of the leaders of Strategy Builder, who is accused in the case of the October 4 rally, stated at the trial.

According to him, the photo, which the prosecutor's office has presented as evidence against him, was taken as a performance. According to Manjgaladze, he was asked to take a photo, which he could not refuse, and the content of the photo does not directly reflect that "something was planned in an organized manner".

In addition, he said that he is prohibited from making calls from prison.

"Even if a person himself says that he is an organizer, this cannot be considered organizing.... I was there only because the media told me to give a comment in front of the office for these media outlets, and then take a photo with the mentioned people. If I had arrived 15 minutes later, I would not have been in that photo, there would have been other people. It was a performance.

I will not hide from you, many people wanted to take a photo that day. This does not mean that something illegal was planned in an organized manner. It was a performance and it cannot be interpreted as though I was an organizer," said Paata Manjgaladze.
