State Security Service: The Georgian citizen illegally detained near the occupied village of Tsingara has been released

A Georgian citizen illegally detained near the occupied village of Tsingara on January 21 of this year is free and is in the territory controlled by the central government, the State Security Service of Georgia reports.

The State Security Service thanks all parties involved in the process for their consideration of the detainee's condition, his best interests, and prompt response.

"The central government of Georgia, the State Security Service, continues to actively work to release all Georgian citizens illegally detained in the occupied territories," reads the information released by the State Security Service.
