Court sentences Mikheil Zakareishvili to 5 days of administrative detention

The Tbilisi City Court sentenced activist Mikheil Zakareishvili to five days of administrative detention. The Ministry of Internal Affairs accused Zakareishvili of standing on the sidewalk in front of the Parliament and obstructing citizens’ passage.

The decision was made by Tbilisi City Court Judge Zviad Tsekvava.

Notably, today the court also recognized several other protesters as administrative offenders for the same incident: Sandro Megrelishvili and Dimitri Jamburia received 4 days each, Luka Nagliashvili received 5 days, and activist Ani Akhmeteli received a verbal warning.
