She made this statement in response to remarks by the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, regarding Georgia.
According to Tsilosani, Sandu’s intentions regarding Georgia are questionable, and she cannot be a role model for Georgians because she is willing to abolish her own country and incorporate it into another.
"Maia Sandu is a president who can shamelessly declare that she would abolish her own country and integrate it into Romania. It is clear which political orbit she represents. This person has not spared any effort to pour fuel on the fire regarding ongoing processes in Georgia and has always acted as a supporter of internal disorder. Moreover, on October 4, she encouraged those involved in the attempted state overthrow, saying: ‘I am on your side, you know, I wish you success.’
We doubt the sincerity of Maia Sandu’s statements about Georgia. She can never be an example for Georgians, as she is willing to abolish her own country and incorporate it into another. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that Ukraine and Moldova have acted against Georgia. Over the years, they have openly or secretly done everything possible to prevent Georgia from obtaining candidate status, to foster disorder in the country, and to support that disorder. They never condemned the attempted state overthrow in Georgia.
All three countries are candidate states, yet we see which side Ukraine and Moldova have chosen: Moldova is ready to abolish its own country and merge into Romania, while Ukraine is ready to plunder its own country. As Ursula von der Leyen urged, these are people who, for the sake of the European idea, can sacrifice hundreds of thousands of citizens’ lives, wage wars, and devastate their own countries.”
For reference, Moldovan President Maia Sandu stated at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe that “Russia has returned Georgia to its own orbit.”
"I regret that Georgia, despite the courage of the Georgian people who continue to uphold democratic values, European aspirations, and the right to decide their own future, has been returned to Russia’s orbit. Russia has returned Georgia to its orbit, using the threat of war and sending messages that a wrong choice in the elections would cost peace."
