Employees of the Marneuli District Division of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye - born in 1986, identified as M.I. - who was wanted by Interpol under a Red Notice.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the detainee has been wanted by the Republic of Türkiye since December 2025 on charges of premeditated murder.

“Law enforcement officers arrested M.I. in Marneuli as a result of investigative measures carried out. Extradition procedures provided for by law are currently underway with regard to the detained person,” the statement says.
