Work related to reducing prices will be completed by the end of April, and we believe there will be tangible results, said the Head of the Government Administration, Levan Zhorzholiani.

According to him, it is important that companies have expressed their willingness to reduce prices.

“The commission worked for two weeks. Meetings were held with companies operating in the food sector, such as chain supermarkets, importers, and producers. The commission’s mandate was also expanded, and we met with representatives of the pharmaceutical sector as well as fuel companies. It is important to note that at the end of every meeting, companies expressed their readiness to reduce prices, which is already a very positive sign. The process will move to parliament, where these issues will be discussed within the framework of a special working commission. We will complete our work by the end of April, and we believe we will have tangible results,” Levan Zhorzholiani stated.
