National Environmental Agency releases information about weather forecast

According to the National Environmental Agency, from February 3 to the morning of February 4, precipitation is expected in Western Georgia, heavy in some places, and storm surges of 3-4 points are possible at sea.

According to them, strong westerly winds will be blowing over most of the country's territory.

"Snowfall, heavy in some places, fog, blizzards and avalanche danger are expected in high-mountainous areas. Due to heavy snowfall, blizzards, poor visibility and avalanche danger, traffic may be restricted on certain sections of roads.

The expected precipitation may significantly increase water levels in the rivers of Western Georgia, and cause the onset and activation of landslide-sandstorm processes in hilly and mountainous areas (danger level medium)," reads the information.
