The U.S. State Department has reported on a meeting between Brendan Hanrahan, head of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, and Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lasha Darsalia.

Specifically, according to the public schedule of meetings posted on the State Department’s website, the meeting was scheduled for today at 11:30 a.m. Washington time and was held behind closed doors.

At this stage, neither the American nor the Georgian side has released any details regarding the meeting.
