Over the past 10 years, 92,910 out of 107,200 people in need have joined the Hepatitis C treatment program, with a 98.1% cure rate

Over a 10-year period, 107,200 people with Hepatitis C who required treatment were identified, of whom 92,910 were enrolled in treatment.

According to information provided to InterpressNews by the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, the cure rate stands at 98.1%.

“From 2015 through December 31, 2025, a total of 107.2 thousand people were identified with confirmed positive Hepatitis C diagnoses who required treatment. Of these, 92,910 individuals were enrolled in treatment, 89,775 completed treatment, and the cure rate is 98.1%,” the information sent to InterpressNews states.
