Employees of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested three individuals - N.B. (born in 1995), J.A. (born in 1990), and A.A. (born in 1985) - on charges of the illegal acquisition, possession, sale, and facilitation of the sale of particularly large quantities of narcotic drugs.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of searches conducted at the suspects’ residences, law enforcement officers seized, as physical evidence, particularly large quantities of various narcotic substances prepared for sale, including heroin, methadone, and dried marijuana.
“As a result of investigative actions, the police also seized materials necessary for packaging narcotic substances.
The investigation is being conducted under Articles 260, 260¹ (tercia), and 260² (quarta) of the Criminal Code, which provide for a penalty of up to 20 years or life imprisonment,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
