Ambassadori Island Batumi Allows Us to Fully Realize Our Decades of Engineering Expertise – Yüksel Proje

The engineering design for the Ambassadori Island Batumi project, comprising two artificial peninsulas and one artificial island, is being spearheaded by the international firm Yüksel Proje. The company brings a distinguished track record of high-stakes global projects, including the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant and major commercial ports. Notably, Yüksel Proje has successfully designed and commissioned two international airports built on reclaimed land in the Black Sea: Ordu-Giresun and Trabzon.

According to Cemal Karaoğlu, Vice Chairperson of Yüksel Proje, Georgia serves as a prime example of how multinational collaboration can generate real, tangible positive impact.

"Our operations currently span 38 countries across three continents. Georgia stands out as an excellent example of how implementing efficient, innovative solutions creates a measurable positive influence, particularly in the sectors of transport, maritime and coastal engineering, infrastructure, and energy," stated the Vice Chairperson.

During the interview, Mustafa Esen, Deputy Manager of the Maritime and Coastal Structures Department, emphasized the strategic nature of this partnership:

"We believe that Yüksel Proje’s extensive experience, specifically along the Black Sea coast, was a decisive factor in Ambassadori Group’s choice of partner. We are proud to apply our specialized expertise to such a unique development”. “The Ambassadori Island project has presented us with the opportunity to integrate diverse functional spaces including tourism, commercial, residential, and entertainment zones, into a single, cohesive territory. This project allows us to develop concepts that showcase our decades of engineering mastery, the power of digital technologies, and our commitment to sustainable development." - said, Manager of the Maritime and Coastal Structures Department, Hülya Karakuş Cihan
