So-called court in occupied Donetsk sentences Giorgi Chubetidze, a Georgian fighter in Ukraine, to life imprisonment

Georgian citizen Giorgi Chubetidze, captured in Russia, has been sentenced to life imprisonment. This was announced by the so-called “prosecutor’s office” of the occupied “Donetsk people’s republic”.

In particular, the so-called court of occupied Donetsk sentenced 42-year-old Georgian citizen Giorgi Chubetidze to life imprisonment for “being a mercenary fighter” and for the murder of a total of five Russian soldiers.

According to them, Chubetidze was captured in the fall of 2023.
