According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a Jordanian citizen has been arrested on charges of domestic violence and perverted acts committed against a family member.

According to the agency, the investigation revealed that the defendant systematically committed perverted acts against his minor daughters and physically abused them, and the defendant threatened to kill all three children in case of telling others about the crime.

“Officers of the Main Department of Juvenile Affairs of the Tbilisi Police Department arrested S.A., a Jordanian citizen, born in 1980, on charges of domestic violence and depraved acts committed against a family member.

Investigative actions conducted in the case revealed that the accused, with prior knowledge, systematically committed depraved acts against his minor daughters.

In addition, it is established that the person accused of the crime also physically abused his children. The accused threatened to kill all three children in case of telling others about the crime.

As a result of operational measures and investigative actions carried out, the officers of the Main Department of Juvenile Affairs arrested S.A. as a defendant. The incident is being investigated under Article 126, Part 2, and Article 11, Part 2, of the Criminal Code, which provides for imprisonment for a term of up to 12 years," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
