Within the framework of the Munich Security Conference, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka BoTchorishvili met with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the meeting discussed current issues of cooperation between Georgia and the OSCE. Attention was focused on the situation in the occupied regions of Georgia.
“The Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of the Geneva international negotiations format and the OSCE’s involvement in the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
The parties discussed the current situation in the region, security challenges and ways to overcome them.
Maka BoTchorishvili emphasized cooperation and involvement within the OSCE,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says in a statement.
