Nino Kadagidze-Zhvania - The accusation is completely unacceptable, I exclude that Busa knew anything - we do not deny that he was a friend of Kakulia, but accusing a person of such a thing is another tragedy

The misfortune that happened is a tragedy for us. Secondly, to blame a person who did not know and to bring such an accusation against him is another tragedy, - Nino Kadagidze-Zhvania, the wife of former Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania, told InterpressNews, responding to the information released by the Prosecutor's Office that her son Besarion Zhvania was involved in organizing the ordered murder of Niko Kvaratskhelia, for which Busa Zhvania has been put on the wanted list.

As Nino Zhvania notes, her son was not aware of the fact that the Kakulia brothers were planning to murder Niko Kvaratskhelia.

“It is very unexpected. We never denied that he had a relationship and that Kakulia was a childhood friend, and he has said all this in his testimonies - as for the rest, this accusation is completely unacceptable, I exclude that Busa knew anything. I exclude that Busa knew [about the planning of the murder]. First, the misfortune that happened is a tragedy for all of us, and now the second - to blame a person who did not know and bring such an accusation against him, this is another tragedy, I think,” said Nino Zhvania.

According to Tbilisi prosecutor Giorgi Mikaia, the Georgian Prosecutor’s Office has opened a case of the murder of Niko Kvaratskhelia. According to him, the Prosecutor’s Office will charge Guram Kakulia, Davit Kakulia and Besarion Zhvania with organizing a group premeditated murder of Niko Kvaratskhelia. Former Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania's son, Besarion (Busa) Zhvania, will be declared wanted in accordance with the law.
