Tata Khvedeliani: There is such chaos and lawlessness in the country that it wouldn’t surprise me if tomorrow they arrest Kobakhidze, not just Eliso Kiladze

“There is such chaos and lawlessness in our country that it wouldn’t surprise me if tomorrow they arrest Kobakhidze, not just Eliso Kiladze,” - this was stated by “Gakharia for Georgia” MP Tata Khvedeliani to journalists, commenting on the detention of “Chronika+” founder Eliso Kiladze.

According to her, chaos and selective justice have created a precedent for governing the country in Georgia.

“Not Eliso Kiladze, but if tomorrow they arrest Kobakhidze, would that surprise you? In our country, chaos and a precedent of governing through selective justice have been created. What we saw yesterday in the courthouse yard is the result of ‘Dream’s’ policy and the fact that chaos and criminal roaming are taking place in Georgia. This is the situation where a Georgian mother has been demanding justice for her child’s killers for five years - they had all the information studied, they had the recordings, and they kept them for five years. Doesn’t this raise questions about why all this happened?

There is such chaos and lawlessness in our country that it wouldn’t surprise me if tomorrow they arrest Kobakhidze, not just Eliso Kiladze,” - stated Tata Khvedeliani.

For information: According to the Prosecutor's Office, Eliso Kiladze was detained in connection with the so-called call center case.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, in the same case, charges will be brought in absentia against former Prosecutor General of Georgia Otar Partskhaladze, who is in hiding, and members of his criminal group - Davit Mikadze, Irakli Sekhniashvili, and Mikheil Chokheli. The charging document will be personally served to Giorgi Mikadze, who is currently serving a sentence in a penitentiary institution for another criminal case.
