I was hit in the left knee joint by a metal object, I assume it was a part of the palace fence. I did not see a specific person directly who hit me, - Patrol Inspector Nino Jioshvili stated while giving her testimony in the October 4 case.

She has the status of a victim in the case.

"The participants in the rally cursed us, verbally abused us, called us "Russian slaves", threw various objects at us, during which I was injured, the ambulance took me to the clinic, provided me with aid and I was discharged the same day.

When asked by lawyer Gagi Mosiashvili whether the protesters were injured, the police officer replied that “she doesn’t know and probably they were injured.”

When asked again whether she heard the police swearing at the protesters, the witness replied that “she didn’t hear it.”

For information, Vladimer Gvelesiani, Sergo Megrelishvili, Zurab Chavchanidze, Giorgi Rurua, Amiran Dolishvili, Anton Vardanidze, Giorgi Korkia, Aleksandre Chilachava, Genadi Kupreishvili, Lasha Ivanadze, Levan Jikia, Sulkhan Tughushi, Khvicha Gogokhia and Ramaz Mamuladze are charged under Article 19-222, Part 2, Subparagraph “a” (attempt to seize an object of strategic and special importance, committed by a group) and Article 225, Part 2 (participation in group violence) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for up to six years of imprisonment as a form and measure of punishment.
