The Kutaisi Court has imposed bail on former Lentekhi Municipality Mayor Gia Oniani, as well as Nugzar Tvildiani and Giorgi Gulbani - heads of the Architecture and Supervision Services - in connection with the fact of abuse of official authority.

This was reported to Interpressnews by Levan Makharashvili, the lawyer of former Lentekhi Mayor Gia Oniani.

According to the lawyer, Gia Oniani will be released in exchange for 18,000 GEL bail, while Nugzar Tvildiani was imposed 12,000 GEL bail and Giorgi Gulbani 13,000 GEL bail.

Lawyer Levan Makharashvili stated that the court made this decision one hour ago, and the detained individuals will leave the detention facility after their family fully pays the bail amount.

It became known on February 23 about the detention of former Lentekhi Municipality Mayor Gia Oniani, as well as the heads of the Architecture and Supervision Services - Nugzar Tvildiani and Giorgi Gulbani - in connection with the fact of abuse of official authority.
