According to information from Tbilisi City Hall, heavy precipitation has caused various damages in the capital. Specifically, over the last 24 hours, there have been numerous cases of massive tree uprooting, which has damaged power transmission lines, outdoor lighting poles, and vehicles, and blocked roads.

As stated in the information disseminated by the capital's City Hall, moving under trees poses a particular danger.

"The heavy precipitation that has hit the capital has caused problems: city infrastructure is damaged, power transmission poles have fallen in several locations in Tbilisi. Particularly noteworthy are the cases of branch breakage and tree uprooting due to heavy and wet snow. For this reason, moving under trees is especially dangerous. Over the last 24 hours, there have been numerous cases of massive tree uprooting, which has damaged power transmission lines, outdoor lighting poles, and vehicles, and blocked roads. Internet cables have been severed at various addresses, and provider companies are actively working to restore them.

Upon receiving information, immediate response is taking place: Tbilisi's 'Eco Service Group' and district administration brigades are working in 24-hour mode to clear roads and resolve problems.
