Gia Volski: There is a second way - to give up everything, say that we must indeed accept the loss of sovereignty and act as they dictate, which will lead to the country's destruction - POSTV and "Imedi" are quite inconvenient in this plan, as they provide correct analysis

There is a second way - to give up everything, say that we must indeed accept the loss of sovereignty and act as they dictate, which will lead to the country's destruction. POSTV and "Imedi" are quite inconvenient in this overall plan; if we analyze the situation from a broader perspective, they are quite inconvenient for the plan that has been formed against Georgia, - this was stated by the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Gia Volski.

According to Gia Volski's assessment, the government has done nothing wrong either, as "we have the best indicators by all European standards."

"The attack on 'Imedi' and POSTV means that the information with which they address society does not correspond to the trend and the strategic plan that some countries have in relation to Ukraine, this war in general, and the situation is much more complicated, and this is not limited only to aggression against two media outlets. In general, the government has done nothing wrong either; we have the best indicators by all European standards, but they are sanctioned because the policy is not being conducted in a way that would facilitate the coming to power of a puppet regime in the country. This is all one problem, and of course, we must view it as a given that, unfortunately, characterizes the world today and is being implemented in relation to Georgia as well. There is a second way - to give up everything, say that we must indeed accept the loss of sovereignty and act as they dictate, which will lead to the country's destruction. POSTV and 'Imedi' are quite inconvenient in this overall plan; if we analyze the situation from a broader perspective, they are quite inconvenient for the plan that has been formed against Georgia, as they provide correct information, do correct analysis, and have nothing to do with the Ukraine topic. Regarding the Ukraine topic, such information is published both in Britain and in Ukrainian media itself that would significantly damage even Zelenskyy's authority," - states Volski.
