The threat is constant and multifaceted - interests are intertwined all over the world, and imagine that in this situation there is a sect of people in Georgia, which constantly pushes you to fall into one or another fire, - said the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Gia Volski, while discussing the developments in the Middle East, including the drone attack on Azerbaijan by Iran, and the threats facing Georgia.
According to him, there is a danger that someone may have an interest in the Baku-Ceyhan pipeline.
“The threat is constant and multifaceted. We are being forced to get involved in this confrontation. The threat of the occupation of Georgia turning into an aggressive stage is constantly present. Imagine that in this situation, Marta Kos is exerting pressure, and we must think that there is another plan behind this, which serves much darker purposes than we might think at first glance. There is a danger that someone may have an interest in the Baku-Ceyhan pipeline. In this case, information was spread that the attack was on this pipeline, but as they say, it all happened on the territory of the airport. If necessary, Azerbaijan will make a statement. There is talk between Iran and Turkey about creating a buffer zone. It is in Turkey’s interest that the flow of refugees does not enter Turkey. Other countries also have their own interests.
Interests are intertwined all over the world, and imagine that in this situation, there is a sect of people in Georgia that constantly pushes you to fall into one or another fire.
Why are consultations going on with each other? - Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Georgia. Consultations are going on about something. At this time, pests come out, they call themselves the media and say that Kobakhidze is begging Pashinyan to maybe fix our relations with the Americans. This level of pest is much more dangerous than any drone that falls,” Volski noted.
When asked what the golden mean is for Georgia in the current situation, Volski replied that “the golden mean is for all the forces that will sooner or later sit at the negotiating table to decide that Georgia is needed with its location and resources to be a platform for negotiations in the region, for the opposing sides.”
“In addition, the “middle corridor” is especially important, which must be protected from everyone regardless of their attitude towards each other. The attitude should be the same as it was towards Switzerland when Nazi Germany fought all of Europe. This golden mean exists. It is unfortunate that, against the backdrop of these events, we have so many traitors inside us," Volski said.
