The so-called leaders of occupied Tskhinvali and Abkhazia, Alan Gagloev and Badra Gunba, discussed the violation of Abkhazia's airspace by drones during a telephone conversation.
According to information from Gagloev's press service, he contacted his “Abkhaz colleague” to personally inquire about the situation.
“He expressed support to the leadership of Abkhazia and the Abkhaz people in connection with the incident and noted that South Ossetia is closely monitoring the situation, emphasizing that it supports the fraternal republic and its people,” — stated Gagloev's press service.
For information: Yesterday, the so-called commander of the occupied Abkhazia's air forces, Adgur Gunba, stated that 30 drones were detected. “Yesterday, there was an unprecedented case of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. Drone crashes were recorded in many populated areas. Joint work by Abkhazia's and Russia's air defense systems is ongoing,” — stated the so-called commander of occupied Abkhazia's air forces, Adgur Gunba. According to him, “99% of the drones were destroyed, and fragments of the downed drones were found in 11 populated areas.”
