All meetings in Washington were held in a very constructive, friendly atmosphere - all this, which should ultimately lead to the final reset and recovery of relations, needs to be put into a working process, and I am sure that this working process will begin very soon, - Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations, said about the visit of the parliamentary delegation to the US.
According to him, the issues on which the parties agreed require an additional working process.
"In summary, I can say that all meetings with representatives of both the executive and legislative branches were held in a very constructive, friendly atmosphere. I would especially like to draw attention to the meetings with the executive branch, both at the State Department, the National Security Council, and the War Department. Based on these meetings, I think that we can have grounds for optimism, although the issues we discussed and the issues we agreed on, of course, require additional work. All of this, which should ultimately lead to the final reset and recovery of relations, needs to be put into action, and I am sure that this work process will begin very soon," Samkharadze said.
