\Sweden calls on the Georgian authorities to fully implement the recommendations of the OSCE Moscow Mechanism, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs says in a statement.

As noted in the statement, Sweden fully shares and welcomes the assessment of the independent expert.

“The OSCE is built on strong commitments to human rights, democracy and the rule of law. Sweden welcomes the Moscow Mechanism mission’s independent expert report and recommendations on the alarming situation in Georgia. The OSCE Moscow Mechanism provides the opportunity to investigate issues related to the OSCE human dimension and is an important tool for accountability. We urge the Georgian authorities to implement the recommendations in full”, reads the statement.
