Ukraine's Chargé d'Affaires ad interim in Georgia Dmytro Berezhny met with the Secretary General of the Georgian Dream party, the city's mayor, Kakha Kaladze. The Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia reported on this.

The embassy notes that support is very important now.

"We are sincerely grateful to Kakha Kaladze and the Georgian people for their support for Ukraine in difficult times for our state, for the support of the spirit of the Ukrainian people when the Tbilisi TV tower was lit up in the colors of the national flag of Ukraine, for the hundreds of flags that still fly on the balconies of residential buildings, on the flagpoles of educational and banking institutions.

It is precisely such support that is very important for us now," the Ukrainian Embassy said in a statement.
