According to unofficial information, as a result of a special operation in the village of Sharabidzeebi, Khelvachauri municipality, Adjara, about 80 people were arrested on charges of ties to the criminal world.

Also, according to Interpressnews, a 75-year-old woman was injured during the special operation and has been transferred to the Batumi International University Clinic. She is believed to be the mother of one of the detainees.

In addition, according to local residents, two people, brothers, harmed themselves before being arrested.
