Giorgi Vashadze - The Patriarch managed to unite the nation, even today - I wish this unity to be the foundation on which we will build a strong and united Georgia

The leader of the Strategy the Builder party, Giorgi Vashadze, has arrived at the Trinity Cathedral.

The politician arrived at the Trinity Cathedral for the funeral together with his family.

According to him, the unity that exists in the country should become the foundation on which a strong and united Georgia should be built.

“The Patriarch managed to unite the nation, even today. I would like this unity to be the foundation on which we should build a strong and united Georgia.

He did a lot during his life, he was an epochal person and his contribution to the international recognition of Georgia’s autocephaly, which is the foundation and basis of the country’s independence, is great. The way the Georgian nation honors him indicates his personality.
