New details are emerging regarding a murder that occurred in a village in Ozurgeti Municipality.

According to reports, a 23-year-old man stabbed his neighbor as a result of an order received online, after which he fled the scene and also self-harmed.

According to available information, the young man was playing computer games. According to the village, law enforcement officers have seized the computer equipment.

The father of the detainee confirms that his son was playing computer games, although he does not know what kind of games they were.

“I don’t know what he was doing, he was sitting in front of the computer 24 hours a day. He would go to bed at 04:00 at night and would sit in front of the computer all the time. When he killed our neighbor, he ran away and hid in the forest. The police and ambulance came. They searched and found him in the forest, his veins were cut. His computer and phone were taken for examination. They searched the house, bloody clothes were lying in the yard. The search is ongoing,” the detainee’s father told TV Pirveli.

For information, one person was arrested in Ozurgeti on charges of murdering his neighbor.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the accused injured his neighbor living in his own house in one of the villages of Ozurgeti municipality with a cold weapon during an argument and fled the scene.

The investigation is underway under Article 108 of the Criminal Code, which provides for imprisonment for a term of up to 15 years.
