Mikheil Kavelashvili departs on an official visit to the Slovak Republic

Mikheil Kavelashvili, accompanied by a delegation, has departed on an official visit to Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic. The information was released by Mikheil Kavelashvili’s press service.

According to the press service, an official welcoming ceremony for Mikheil Kavelashvili will be held at the Presidential Palace of Slovakia.

“Slovak Republic President Peter Pellegrini will host Mikheil Kavelashvili. Bilateral and expanded-format meetings are planned, after which a joint statement will be made to the media.

During the visit, Mikheil Kavelashvili is scheduled to meet with Slovak Republic Vice Prime Minister Denisa Saková and the Speaker of the National Council, Richard Raši.

The Georgian delegation includes: Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Zurabashvili, Georgia’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Slovak Republic Konstantin Kvachakidze, and representatives of the Administration of the President of Georgia.

Mikheil Kavelashvili’s visit will conclude on April 3,” the information states.
