According to the chairman of the European Integration Committee, Levan Makhashvili, a group will arrive in Georgia from the United States in April to study the processes ongoing in Georgia.

As Makhashvili told journalists, the Georgian government is trying to restore relations with each meeting with the American side.

“The position of the American side is that, as several visits have been made so far, they are going to send a separate group in April as well, which will have the opportunity to study the ongoing processes in Georgia in more depth and take further steps, where common interests will be identified. The society sees that with each visit and meeting, we are trying to gradually restore relations from scratch, with a specific agenda. There were also certain concerns in the society, whether there is any hidden agenda, however, I want to assure the society that each of our steps has always been dictated by the interests of Georgia,” said Levan Makhashvili.
