The Holy Fire has descended at the Tomb of Christ

In Jerusalem, the Holy Fire has descended at the Tomb of Christ. The Holy Fire was brought out from the chapel built over the Lord’s tomb by Theophilos III, the Patriarch of Jerusalem and All Palestine.

The Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem entered the Tomb of Christ inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, after which the tomb was sealed. The Holy Fire descended at 15:13 Tbilisi time.

The Holy Fire first descended at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem in the 3rd century.
